Welcome to the Military Family Assistance ProgramOur primary concern is that no military service member or family is left behind, and we have come together to form a statewide "safety net" for them. The purpose of the program is to connect military families with volunteer service(s) within their community, government and faith-based organizations to help ease their family's burden. FeaturedOhio Difference Maker Program Are you interested in being a part of a trained and ready volunteer team to help all Ohio Service Members and their families? Do you enjoy working with the youth that have been impacted by the global war on terrorism? Then this is the program for you to be become certified and trained volunteer. The Ohio National Guard Family Readiness Program is kicking off a new initiative which is a resource available to all Ohio Military Organizations. The one day training program will provide you with the knowledge and tools to lead/participate whenever and wherever at the local unit level, regional and state level. the program focuses on the utilization of volunteer efforts from local individuals in support of their regional Homefront Families and Heroes. Regional Inter-Service Family Assistance CommitteesRegional Inter-Service Family Assistance Committees RISFAC quarterly meetings focus on building relationships and awareness of military family needs and syncing resources and services with identified needs. RISFAC meetings are facilitated by Regional Family Assistance Center Specialists and participants include Unit Commanders, Readiness NCOs, Military Liaisons and family readiness lead volunteers from all service branches and agencies, organizations and individuals committed to serving military families.
